Terms of service

unclench.ai lets a business build an AI support agent from its own knowledge (website pages, text and files), add a chat widget to its website, and review the conversations visitors have with it. We may improve, change or remove features over time. We'll give notice before removing anything a paid plan depends on.

• You need a Google account to sign in, and you're responsible for everything done through your account and your organization.
• The person who creates an organization is its owner. Owners and admins can invite teammates and manage the organization; keep access limited to people who should have it.
• Tell us at [email protected] if you think someone has accessed your account without permission.

• Plans are billed monthly, in advance, at the prices on our pricing page. Each organization needs its own subscription.
• Plans start with a 7-day free trial. You won't be charged if you cancel before the trial ends.
• The chat widget only appears on your website while your organization has an active plan or trial.
• Each plan includes a set number of messages (replies from your agent) per billing period, seats and knowledge sources. When the messages are used up, the widget is hidden on your website until the next period starts or you upgrade. Unused messages don't carry over.
• Payments are processed by Dodo Payments, which acts as merchant of record and may charge applicable taxes. Its name may appear on your statement.
• You can change plans or cancel at any time from Settings → Billing. Cancelling stops future renewals; your plan stays active until the end of the period you've paid for.
• If a payment fails, the widget goes offline until the payment method is updated.
• We'll email you at least 30 days before a price change affects your subscription.

If you're not happy, email [email protected] within 7 days of your first charge and we'll refund that payment in full. Renewal payments after that aren't refundable, except where the law requires it. Refunds go back to the original payment method through Dodo Payments.

• You keep ownership of the knowledge you add and the conversations on your website. You give us permission to store and process it only to run the service for you.
• You're responsible for having the right to use the content you add, and for the accuracy of your knowledge base.
• You're responsible for telling visitors how their data is used, including in your own privacy policy, and for having a lawful basis to collect the visitor details you ask for.
• AI replies are generated from your knowledge and can still be incomplete or wrong. Don't rely on the agent for legal, medical, financial or other decisions where a mistake could cause harm.

You agree not to use unclench.ai to:

• break the law, or collect or process data you aren't allowed to.
• collect payment card numbers, passwords, health records or other highly sensitive data through the chat.
• harass, deceive or mislead people, including by pretending the agent is a human.
• add knowledge you don't have the right to use, or content that is illegal or harmful.
• get around plan limits, resell the service without our agreement, or share one subscription between several businesses.
• probe, overload, reverse engineer or interfere with the service or other customers' data.

We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules. Where it's reasonable, we'll contact you first.

We work to keep unclench.ai fast and available, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted service. We rely on third-party providers, including AI and hosting providers, and outages on their side can affect the widget and the console.

You can stop using unclench.ai at any time by cancelling your plan and removing the widget from your website. To have your organization's data deleted, email [email protected]. We delete it within 30 days, as described in our privacy policy.

unclench.ai is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost sales or data, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law.

We'll update the date above when these terms change, and email customers about significant changes at least 14 days before they take effect. Continuing to use unclench.ai after that means you accept the new terms.
